My name is Afan Pasalic, and this is my little piece of the web. I admit that it is mostly business and work oriented information, but I would like to think it also represents a bit of self-expression, an extension of myself.

I am a web developer, and have been working in the field of web development and web design for about four years. For the past two years, I have been specializing in building web applications using PHP/MySQL.

The work I enjoy most involves both client and server side technologies. By combining back-end database integration, with solid client side technologies (Javascript and CSS), as well as elegant user interface design, it is possible to create applications that push the boundaries of what the web can offer the end user.

I excel at playing this middle role, between technology and design. I have the technical aptitude and attention to create solid code, and the design sensibilities and esthetic sense to know what looks and works well, and strive for a good balance of both.
